The 40G QSFP+ SWDM4 transceiver components are made for usage in 40G Ethernet web links over duplex multimode fiber. 4 channels/lanes in the 850-940nm area 10Gbps to carry the Ethernet signal. Digital diagnostics features are offered by means of an I2C user interface, as defined by the QSFP+ MSA.
